These sushi rice balls can be made with different ingredients. However, some main ingredients are essential to turn this recipe into a success story!

What you will need for this recipe are the following ingredients:

  • Cooked rice: you can use either sushi rice or Calrose rice. Both will work.

  • Rice vinegar: another essential ingredient not to miss.
  • Vegetables or fruit: you can use avocado, cucumber, mango, and carrots, pickled cucumber, or pickled ginger.
  • Seafood: I love adding crab. However, you can also add salmon, tuna, or shrimp.
